Jacksonville, Florida - November 2013 - Almost 30 years after the release of Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge, lead actor Mark Patton returns in a brutally-honest, behind-the-scenes documentary, There Is No Jesse. A companion fundraising campaign has launched on the popular crowdfunding site, Indiegogo, which connects fans and contributors directly to exclusive production updates and rare rewards.
This unique feature-film examines the homo-erotic themes of the second NOES installment through revealing conversations with “scream king” Mark Patton. Unlike similar documentaries dedicated to the series, There Is No Jesse also advances the storyline of Jesse Walsh, a lead character forgotten by the sequels but not his fans.
From now through Friday, January 24th, those interested can follow the production’s progress by contributing to the campaign or visiting the film’s Facebook page, ‘There is NO Jesse with Mark Patton.’ Funds raised will be used to acquire licensed music from bands including Nine Inch Nails and Antony and The Johnsons, and Christopher Young’s score as well as rare, behind-the-scenes photos from the set of NOES2.
